Vijay Gidoomal qualified as a lawyer with Clifford Chance in the UK in 1992. He returned to Kenya in 1993 and was responsible for establishing Car & General operations in Uganda and Tanzania as Executive Director. He became the Managing Director of Car & General in 1996 and oversaw a complete restructuring of the company's revenue base, gradually introducing new product lines that included the pioneering of the introduction of three-wheelers and two-wheelers as taxis in East Africa. Vijay has seen Car & General go regional with representation in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Seychelles, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Somalia. The company is now actively engaged in automotive and equipment distribution, financial services, property, and agriculture. Vijay is a golfer, cyclist, and bridge player. He is an active member of the Young Presidents Association, its past Chairman (Kenya Chapter), and regional board member. He sits on various corporate boards.
Amit Nanda has served as the technical manager (1992-2002) and the technical advisor (2002-date) for Hydraulic Hoses and Pipe Manufacturing Limited. Among his various accomplishments is the installation of Master Naivasha Lodge. He has also served in various capacities at the community level as the head of youth and spearheaded several charity drives, including drilling boreholes for different needy areas. In addition, he's served as the vice-chairman of Arya Samaj Nairobi, Served on the Governing Council Arya Prithnidi Sabha (APS) East Africa, and is the board observer for Cornerstone at Acacia Innovations.
